Echo on Demand
American Audio Offers New WR 90E Single Channel Wireless Microphone System with Built-in Echo

LOS ANGELES—A little bit of echo goes a long way in helping vocal performers sound more polished and professional at the microphone. That’s why American Audio has designed its new affordable WR 90E Single Channel Wireless Microphone System with a digital echo feature built right into it.

Ideal for all wireless mic users—whether they’re singers, DJs, karaoke enthusiasts or emcees—the WR 90E system gives performers a clean vocal sound and lets them dial up the exact amount of echo they desire without having to purchase and hook up a separate effects unit. And a dual-diversity receiver with two antennas ensures that the vocal signal will always be strong and clear, even in the most challenging wireless environments.

By turning a single knob on the WR 90E, users can add a small amount of echo to get more of a “live” sound. Cranking the echo up to the maximum level creates an outrageous special effect that’s great for parties and stage productions. In between is a full spectrum of moderate echo levels appropriate for different types of rooms and performance styles.

"The WR 90E Single Channel Wireless Microphone System makes it easier than ever for performers who are venturing out into the wireless world to sound great right out of the box," said Tom Freret, national sales manager for American Audio. "And with such a quality wireless microphone and receiver available together for under $130, it represents the kind of value that American Audio strives to offer its customers."

Available in four different color-coded frequencies, the WR 90E also solves the all-too-common problem of frequency overcrowding. With wireless mics at the height of popularity among musicians and entertainers, the WR 90E VHF system gives performing groups the option of purchasing the same quality mic in multiples—so they can jam together without having to worry about clashing audio signals. That means even more onstage freedom for performers and venues that require more than one wireless microphone but don’t want them all on the same frequency jamming the airwaves.

“Wireless is a hot trend right now, and since many of today’s performers use more than one mic, it makes perfect sense to offer the WR 90E system in a variety of frequencies,” Freret said. “With the added convenience of color-coding, you can tell the four different mics apart at a glance, grab the right one—and never experience the frustration of frequency-jam again.”

The four available frequencies of the WR 90E system are designated by easy-to-see red (174.500 mHz), yellow (199.800 mHz), blue (206.950 mHz) or green (210.900 mHz) coloring on the knob located at the bottom of the mic.

A compact and easy-to-transport unit with a suggested retail price of just $129.95, the WR 90E Single Channel Wireless Microphone System measures 3.75”L (95.25mm) x 10.25”W (260.3mm) x 1.75”H—and weighs only 1 pound (0.45kgs). The system gives users the option of using balanced or unbalanced connections, depending on their preference.
